Folks,

I picked up all of these games in a recent acquisition and have no idea if there are any rare ones or any good ones to hang on to and preserve.

I was never a gamer on the Apple II so this is not something I would know other than I have heard the names of some of these.

Any help, comments, etc. would be appreciated.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Thanks,
Jay

Hi Jay!

The first two related to Epyx's StarQuest are the top two in my opinion.

I've never seen the Star Warrior one, but have seen the Rescue at Rigel for sale several times.

You really scored!!

Jennifer,

Thanks. Even back in the day, I never really got into gaming so any help is appreciated. All of my kids are into gaming (although not 8-bit Smile ), but I never really got into it. I was the one who was trying to interface the Apple II to control the lights in the house. LOL!

Thanks,
Jay

Thanks Jay. Those were fun to look at. I haven't heard of about a third of those titles. Monster Smush? Could be good. You should at least play each of the unusual ones one time and take screen shots to share.

Keatah,

I'll have to see if it is. I don't remember that title.

That is a nice haul of games. Castle Wolfenstein is one of my favorites, but I think the games in the plastic Ziplock-type bags are really cool, nostalgic. I think I bought the Sublogic Flight Simulator as my first program for my Apple II. It was in one of those plastic ziplock bags. Thanks for sharing.

Probably the most impressive thing in there is the California Pacific Ultima baggie, take good care of that. It would probably sell for quite a lot if you sell it. Cranston Manor, even though it looks like it has tape on it, would also be something that would sell for quite a lot. The other Bill Budge related California Pacific ones are relatively rare as well with their full packaging like that. The Three Mile Island is probably also pretty unique -- it's in the old-style MUSE packaging, though there was later a regular cover for the manual. The Datamost, Broderbund, Sirius things with folded cards are kind of moderately rare/collectible to varying degrees, as is Raster Blaster. Those are the ones that stand out among those that I see. But it is overall a pretty good lot of stuff!

Re: Apple II Games

Holy smokes! There were 3 pages of game images!! (I only looked at page 1)

I would say the Ultima is probably worth the most, then perhaps the Wasteland game, followed by probably both of the Bill Budge titles, then some of the Epyx games I mentioned before.

Quite a haul!!

Re: Apple II Games

Thanks for all the comments folks. As I said, I was never really a gamer. I am going to wrap these up carefully and take care of them. If I ever go to sell them, I will post here on the fritter fist, but I want to hold on to them for now.

Thanks again.
