Apple IIe Stuff

I have a couple of Apple //e Enhanced computers for sale, both in good working condition.

I also have an Apple II unehanced motherboard for sale for parts. It works, but has 1 chip, that sits just to the left of the soldered memory chips that has a broken pin. Also, I think there is a bad memory chip, as it fails the system test. The reason the pin is broken on the one chip, is when I was trying to find out why the board was failing the system test, I pulled the chip, and was going to re-seat it, and the leg just fell off. I think maybe it had been pulled before by someone, who didn't use the proper chip pulling techniques, and was bent, and straightened, probably several times, as I have bent and straightened pins before without breaking them Smile

I have no way of guessing the shipping, so would take each item to the post office, and have the shipping cost figured, and charge exact shipping.

I can take pictures of all, and email to anyone interested, just let me know if interested.

I am asking $75 each for the computers, and $20 for the motherboard. PM me if you have any questions or want photos.

These are not on ebay, as I wanted to put them up here first.

I would take United States Postal money order for payment, and will ship to lower 48 only.

Thanks.

Re: Apple IIe Stuff

Why?

k4lmp's prices seem reasonable enough.

Anyway, I'm not really in the market for one, but I think I'll PM for some photos anyway because I'm curious.

Not really sure how to do that. I will be glad to, if someone can help me out with it.

For pictures, go to www.k4lmp.org then, at the top on the right, click on 'For Sale'.

Or, try this link: http://www.k4lmp.org/?page_id=455

To view full size, click on the picture, that will load a new page with a smaller image with 'posted' above it. Click on the picture again, and you will get the full sized picture, that when you hover the mouse over, you get the '+' or '-' to make it larger or smaller.

Thanks

What do you believe would be a reasonable price?

Re: Apple IIe Stuff

I'm not saying $75 is high or unreasonable for a IIe, but I just picked up a decent one locally with a pair of drives for $20. While it's not pristine, it's in good working order and only has a few light scuffs and scratches.

I would say you got an awesome deal. Drives alone go for more than $20 each typically so you getting a IIe with drives and a controller was a steal for $20.

Cheers,
Corey

Thanks Corey, I thought it was a good deal also. Keep in mind the IIe was pretty much barebones - had no software, manuals, monitor, paddles/joysticks, boxes nor any extra cards (only the disk controller card and the memory expansion card).
