Do I need a driver for this external SCSI optical drive?

Hi folks...

I was looking at this external optical SCSI CD drive:

http://www.bignoisempc.com/apple-scsi-cd-rom-drive-24x-external-sun-ultra/

I have emailed the company and they said they could supply the drive with a
SCSI DB-25 connector that would plug directly into the SCSI connector on the rear
of my 575 logic board.

What the seller did not know was if I needed a 3rd party driver for this drive.

If I buy it, I have 14 days to return it. He says he has sold this drive to many apple folk who are running apple computers from the early 1990s, and he has not had a return yet.

Can anyone refer me to a place to look for SCSI drivers? Or, do you have a driver that you can emaill me?

Thanks

The stock Apple CD-ROM driver in System 7.6 (not 7.6.1!) will work with 3rd party CD drives.

Version of the driver here:
