As it is most commonly known, Carrie Fisher (of Star Wars) and
Debbie Reynolds passed away last year.
What I did not know and have found out the Debbie Reynolds
owned an Apple II.
It is a ventless Apple II and low serial number. (AS1-0082)
This is up for auction now and expected to go between
$1000-$2000 (US) along side of the other belongs they owned.
Apparently Debbie used it as in inventory database.
(I wonder what software she used)
Are there any other celebrities that owned/still owe an Apple II?
Here is the auction link if you are interested

A very dark cloud rises from horizon......
from that cloud a dark voice raises:
"So what's the damn question to me ?
In which kind do you expect support from ME ?"
"Do you expect me to send both ladies back ???"
and then there was silence.....
and the dark cloud disappeared....
sigh... ;-P
I agree with the cloud reading the title of this posting...
EDIT:
I also can't remember that Jobs has ever been a member here at Applefritter....
and I don't believe he now will read nor reply to any postings here....

Already sold for something like 12k. I don't think that price has anything to do with it being Debbie Reynolds. It's a ventless Apple II with a replacement keyboard and power supply. If it was all original it would be worth double that or more.
Cool, 3rd thread on the same auction. Way to not read other threads before posting.
That's the one that sold on eBay a while back. lol
I guess the winner decided to flip it.

Adressing to the newbies here:
It's a cynic behavior to adress here prayers at Steve Jobs !
In fact Jobs was a pycho who hated the Apple II.
While Apple performed an upgrade program that enabled former
Apple II owners to upgrade their Computers from the Apple II to the Apple II+ model
Jobs grabed the next availiable chainsaw when he viewed the mainboards that have been
turned back to the factory in that process and destroyed with a chainsaw or drillmahcine
every mainboard he could grab.... a kind of "Cupertino chainsaw masacre"....
The first computer Jobs really liked was the Maintosh in which he acted as designer....
So the fact that thousands of Apple II became destroyed results from Jobs nightmares....
It's no bad idea to read the book from Steven Weyhrich about the history of Apple....

Actually Steve Jobs hated anything that was "yesterday", meaning he was always looking at the next thing but conscious that the current thing paid for it.
When the next thing became the current thing, then the old current thing was trash to him.
Apple-1 was it, till the Apple II, which was it until the Macintosh which was it until the NeXT, which was it until the iMac
