If you're not familiar with the machine, here's a few links with some info & pics.

The greedy part of me won, so it's up on fleaBay, hoping to get some hot bidding action going. Just transporting it to a new home is going to be kinda spendy; FedEx Ground estimates that it'll be around $80 for shipping to either coast, so I wonder if it'll garner any bids at all. Part of me doesn't want it to go, but the thing has been sitting idle for several years. I was glad to see it booted up ok last weekend when I dusted it off. Still a cool machine.

In case anybody is interested... http://www.ebay.com/itm/121283961327

I see on your website [here] that the hard drive mounting brackets were broken at one time. Is this still the case?

Very cool machine, regardless.

I don't recall exactly what I did to get it squared away, but whatever part broke was on the hard drive itself and was pretty inconsequential. Not enough to put it out of service; the original HD is still in there spinning away. A little noisy at startup, but I've heard worse. Wink

The brackets are metal and attach to either side of the drive, then the drive and brackets slide in between rows of punched tabs in the drive bay. You can kinda see the punched tabs in a couple of the photos in the auction (but now that I look at those photos I realize how bad the photos are. Yikes.)
