My new Apple II; A2S1-11029; Euromod

I have recently acquired an Apple II Euromod. It has a rev. 4 main board and was produced around late 1979.

Bought on ebay: http://www.ebay.de/itm/231624620952

And now someone says 'you cannot get any cheap things off of eBay' Wink

Congratulations.
But it seems to be missing 3 ROM chips?

Nope. Hello tolderllund,
the old Apple II models have been equipped with Integer Basic ROMs and
that set consists of 4 ROMs ( E0 to F8 )
and the space at D0 and D8 may stay empty.

In some cases that computers have been additionally equipped with the so
called Programmers Aid #1 ROM at position D0.
The later Computers consisted of the so called Applesoft ROM set
and then all six ROM sockets from D0 to F8 have been populated.

Besides ...: the old F8 did not have autostart function.
You had to enter the PR#x - command to boot from the disk.
The autostart function was added later in the Applesoft ROM set.

It's now in beautiful shape Blum 3

It was a bit banged up but i still had some "touch up" paint (from an 1978 original Apple repair kit) left Wink
You just have to mix in a bit of acetone to make the touch up paint more thin and rub it onto the case until it begins to get sticky. The its just waiting a week to let it harden ...

Yes i had it boot with a plus romset (was included as well). Its missing the 0004 integer Rom but i have a complete integer romcard.
The screen is a bit jittered but i haven't looked at the main board very closely an too much on my mind right now.
