Need help replacing the blown regulators or capaciors

Luckily, the top lid was off and I remember smoke misting from the power supply. The upper left hand corner of the machine was icky smelling and reeked of death. But the prompt was still active, THANK GOD! A rectangular mustard colord regulator had blown, and I mean exploded-blown, out the front. It reeked like sulfur with earwax everywhere. I did notice another regulator in there too, pre-exploded. Is that one a "back-up"?

Obviously I'm not going to use this hardware until my problem is resulved, but where on earth would I find a replacement for this?

Should i wear protective gloves when removing it?

What would I even clean this with?

I do't know what I would do if experts like yourselves didnt exist.

For this, I thank you.

Hello ,
why are you starting new thread instead of continueing the old original thread :
http://www.applefritter.com/content/spark-pop-sht ???
if you claim that you don´t get answers... how about being a little more patient... this is a site worldwide
24h per day.... sometimes you must accept delays for getting replies...
this just crowds the "threads list" and makes it more difficult for others if they do research....
how happy would you be searching for information and getting dozends of entries about same stuff
without new content ?
think about it..... it´s a question of behaviour.....

Cough, splutter after an explosion in my face.

But as Doctor Watson might say, what am I supposed to be looking at?
