Toddler/Preschooler Setup

I have at least one of every single generation of PowerPC Mac hanging around somewhere from a 6100 to an MDD (including PowerBooks; the only thing I don't have is a G5 or any flavor). I'd like to set up one of these machines for my kids to play around with. I was thinking about something in the OS 9 range with Simple Finder (or 8.1 - 8.6 with At Ease if I can dig up my old copies) and a couple of kids games. Has anyone on here done this for their kids? Any suggestions on hardware? Any suggestions on software?

I'm looking for kid-friendly games, but getting info on vintage software is difficult. Somewhere around here I have the Ambrosia CD from the very early 2000s that might be alright. I've got Bugdom, Nanosaur, and Otto Mattic, too. Are there any other games that you folks have found that a preschooler could enjoy?

I'm not afraid of OS X suggestions, too. If you have experience with something in the 10.3 - 10.5 range, that's fine. I'd like to keep this focused on PPC, though, as that's where I have the most spare hardware.

Peace,
Drew
