I asked a few month ago in the Apple Group but no one had an idea:

I have two cards with A/D D/A background and i´m curious about about their function.
Does anybody know more about them?

I wonder what group that was?

This is probably a modern equivalent (of the top one, anyway), and should give you some idea of their function:

Ah yes, back on August 29, 2012. Seems they had pretty good ideas for you. Doesn't seem like there's too much else out there.

Re: Two mysterious Cards

Well at least the upmost card defines itself by chip: It´s an AD card for measurement and the inputs are similar to a scope so i asume it to be a laboratory measurement card and the Apple outputs with correct software like oscilloscpoe similar to applescope.

And a similar situation is given at the second card: the ZN427 is a AD converter and the 2 x 4051´s are switches that switch 1 of 8 ports to 1 output the chip HE721 down at the connector block is a reedswitch, the TL084 is a quad OPAMP and the 74132 is a monostabile flipflop - with that configuration the card would be able to switch along 16 pins of an unidentified chip check the voltage with the ZN427 and pass it over the 6522 VIA to the Apple - so that all together lets me asume that to be a logic-analyzer card that can checkout unidentified chips and identify them by a software library and proof of function....
