WTB: 65C816 IIgs processor

Anyone have a spare 65C816 that they can sell me?

I can only find the 14mhz versions of the 65C816 on line... and as far as I know they will not work with an apple IIgs without modification.

I need it for my personal ROM1.

Let me know your price, and I can pay you via paypal.

Thanks!

I see no reason why the 65C816P-14 should not work in an Apple IIGS. All unused inputs are tied to high on the motherboard. I have a ROM03 without modification with 816P-14.

Huh, maybe I'm thinking of the 65C02 for the apple //e?

If you say a 816P-14 works with your //gs, I'll go ahead and order one.

Transwarp,

Before you buy one from eBay
check out Jameco's prices first.
