OK, I'll ask... What are short stem switches, the ones for the later non datanetics keyboard that snaps into the black metal frame?

Cheers,
Corey

Non datanetics. II+ keyboard went through at least three different revisions following datanetics, of which two designs uses key switches. Late models uses same key switches as early IIe and non-ADB Mac.

What I termed short stem refers to keyboards with shorter key stems than IIe key switches and has angled spacer between the key switch and key cap. This type of key switch is also found on some Apple IIIs. (The III+ uses IIe type key switches.)
