Suggestions needed on an osx compatible firewire card

i'm looking for a firwire pc card for my g4 upgraded lombard, can anyone recommend any fairly cheap cards as in <$40 that are compatible with OSX 10.3.9 and iMovie?

This card at Other World should suit your needs just fine.

From what I've heard, apparently pretty much any 1394 card with a TI OHCI chipset will work fine with Linux and OS X. It was a few years ago, which means that support may be better in newer revs of the OS.
