My videos that I have are on itunes, but when i link my ipod to my mac powerbookg4 it says that it is not able to do it why?!

What kind of videos are they?
What kind of videos are they? There are some pretty specific requirements for what the iPod is capable of playing.
Oh, and I assume you are using a 5th gen iPod, right?
Video formats
Right, and I believe the videos have to be MP4... You could convert the videos to MP4 wih QuickTime 7 Pro...I dunno if u can do it with the basic version,tho.

The file has to be .mov, .mp4, or .m4v. The video codec has to be h.264 or another mpeg-4 codec (I know that h.263 and 3ivX work), and there are also resolution requirements. The iPod can handle 300 macroblocks (the 16x16-pixel blocks that mpeg video is made up of) for h.264, and 900 for other mpeg-4 codecs. The audio has to be encoded as m4a (aac). There are also various bitrate constraints.
