Hello Everyone,
I just got a Mac SE 1/20 thats what it said on the computer casing, not just specs, where can I find out more info about this, and how much would some thing like this be worth?

Try LowEndMac

http://lowendmac.com/compact/se.shtml

As for monetary value, sad to say it doesn't hold much. If it's in good shape and working condition hang onto it for novelty's sake.

After looking more, I found another site about it http://www.1000bit.net/scheda.asp?id=289 ... It to me seems truly rare, therefor I would think I could get maybe $100-150?? I did have an SE/30 sold for $75 on eBay, and while those are commoner and have the faster speed and what not, I would think rarer would be the way to go??

It sounds like to me that you might have either an early release or some sort of prototyoe.

Nope. Some earlier SE's had their specs written on the front. Nothing unusual.

Mac SE 1/20... the GM "A Body" Of Macintoshes

Which is not to say that they're bad... just rather ubiquitous. Personally, if you must have a classic 68000 SE, I'd go with the FD/HD, just for the sake of having an HD floppy.
Have you run the serial number (yes, that's a link) yet? Certainly help to solve part of the mystery...

Peace,
Rob

No. Most compact Macs that I've seen have the config specs on a label on the back.

Google is our friend...
Just found this whilst Googling. Check your spec label on the back; I'm wondering if this is not a European (Irish) unit.

Wow; I've never seen one like that before. Kinda odd though that they'd put something on the front that could so easily become obsolete. I suppose you could take a Sharpie to it if you replaced the HD or add more RAM. Wink

Heh heh. Smile It'd look a tad better if you added the "L" part onto the 1 and stuck a 1 infront of the 20. There was a man who just wrote extra digits onto British Pound Notes and passed off faked 100 pound note made from 10 or 1 notes...
