Color OneScanner Software

I got a new Color OneScanner 1200/30 from my school, and after about an hour of Googling, I installed the Scanner 4.x driver and the AppleScan chooser extension. I also put the ColorOne plugin into PhotoShop 5.5, but with no luck. I need to know where I can get drivers for this thing (if someone has the software that came with the thing, I'd love a copy) and I need to know what software I should look for to get this thing to work. Looks like I'll need to find myold copy of Ofoto 3.1.

Thanks,

Doc.

Color OneScanner 1200/30 software

What you need is a copy of Apple's OneScanner Dispatcher, which for some reason, people seem to think is avaiable for download off of Apple's website, this is definately NOT true, the only software Apple offers for download for the 600/27 or 1200/30 is the driver extensions ONLY. Though it can be found for download in the U.K. version, but nowhere for the N.A. Version. In addition Ofoto 2.0 and 2.0.3, can be found on the net, but not the original Xerox TextBridge OCR software.

Originally, the 600/27 and 1200/30 Scanners shipped with the OneScanner Dispatcher Software version 2.0, a Copy of Ofoto 2.0 and Xerox's TextBridge 3.0H OCR software. The 1200/30 also shipped with a couple of Kai Powertools plugins, but the 600/27 did not.

The Ofoto software, you do not need, as Photoshop will work much better. As for the OneScanner Dispatcher, and TextBridge Software, I can e-mail you a copy of my disks, from my 600/27. There are five total, two for the Dispatcher, and three for TextBridge. In addition I also have a copy of the original user's manual in PDF format which covers both the 600/27 and the 1200/30 if you want it. If you are interested e-mail me at: KCurry7463@aol.com. I would be happy to send them.

Additionally this software will work up through and including Mac OS 9.2.2, but will NOT work with Mac OS X or Classic.

Thanks!

Thanks, but I'm selling the scanner, so I won't be needing the drivers or anything. Thank you, however, for the offer.
