About the new-style CC Forum?

I certainly don't find it as intuitive. I can't delete my own posts. Several moderating functions are missing or well hidden. I can't see the contents of a thread as easily as before.

Whaddya think?

Moderation

You should have moderator abilities, now. As for the interface, we are trying to improve it. Anybody familiar with PHP, MySQL, CSS/HTML, or graphics, is welcome to help out.

Looks like it - though de-selcting 'publish' is less intuitive than a 'delete' option!

So how do I force the 'read the FAQ' message to the top of the pile?

When you scroll to the bottom

When you scroll to the bottom, is there a 'delete' button beside the 'submit' button?

I've added a link to the FAQ in the board description. I don't think we have a 'sticky' option, yet.

I suspect that it is not for

I suspect that it is not for no reason that most forums frame individual posts. It keeps the housekeeping apparatus and the content of each post well separated, and makes for much easier reading. Any other observations are probably premature, given that a settling time will be needed.

PS I find it quite unclear how an edited post can be reposted,
