Trade: my Lombard PowerBook for your -comparable- Windows notebook

PowerBook G3 333 Lombard Bronze for sale/trade

14.1" TFT display, 64 mb RAM, 4 gb HD, CD, Two USB ports, SCSI, TV/Video out, ethernet, internal 56k modem, one PC-card slot, infrared, Mac OS 9.2

The PowerBook is like new with no scratches anywhere. It has a perfect screen with no marks or dead pixels. It was used for light web surfing and email a couple of hours a week. It never left my desk so the battery wasn't used much. Fully charged, the battery provides around 5 hours. The AC adapter is included. The reason that the numbers are stock is because the laptop has never been opened to have anything installed. It was purchased new, but I no longer have its original box.

(I need to run Windows.) I'd like to swap my -clean- PowerBook for a -clean- Windows notebook. I'd prefer an IBM Thinkpad, but I may consider others that are comparable to the Lombard.

For pictures of the PowerBook, send an email to zbwyr@cs.com

I may also consider selling it for cash. $200

UPDATE

If you have a Windows notebook that you think I'd be interested in, please email me with pictures attached and include the model number. Pictures can be emailed to zbwyr@cs.com

(I can email pictures of the PB to those who are interested.)

Things I'd like to know - what kind of processor (AMD, celeron, pentium), screen size, model, battery & AC adapter, operating system

Thanks to those who expressed interest!

I'm sorry - I'm not intereste

I'm sorry - I'm not interested in a Compaq.

(Thanks for your interest.)

What I am looking for:

Pentium 2 or better (350 mhz or faster), 12.1" - 14.1" active-matrix screen, original AC adapter, good working battery, Windows 2000 or XP. (RAM or HD sizes are unimportant because I can cheaply upgrade those.)

I'd like something comparable to my machine in terms of speed and quality. My PB is excellent, so I'd like something equally nice. Just ask for my pictures and you'll see how nice my PB truly is - much nicer than the Lombards on eBay - not a scratch.

(Currently, I have 6 machines to choose from - I will pick the best one - If I can't find exactly what I want, I'll probably buy a laptop and keep my Lombard.)

(Again, I just want a nice 1999, or early 2000 PC notebook that can run w2k and office - something comparable to a late 1999 PowerBook.)

Thanks to all who have messaged me,

Zach B.

I've decided to swap for a nice Toshiba notebook so the PB is no longer available for sale/trade.
