Cleaning the olutput of an Apple Personal Laserwriter (LS/300)

Got one. It works okay. Problem is that when it prints, it leaves a grey haze over the entire printable area of the page. The intended print is a little grey as well.

How can I get this thing back to pristins printing quality (considering what it is and all)?

It does sound like an empty t

It does sound like an empty toner cart, but first run thirty sheets of clean paper through it to see if print quality improves.
