System restore on CC?

hi. I have a CC running 7.1. It used to be my sisters and now I want to clean up the HD and/or possibly update it.

I basically rediscovered macs with OSX but I'm not sure how to go about dealing with older macs in general.

I just want to know what I can do with it in terms of improving it without making any difficult mods.

7.1 is probably the best system to run on a standard CC. But stock CCs are rather slow, even relative to their own era, let alone today. Upgrading to a 575 logic board makes a big difference. Scanning this forum for 'Mystic' and this site will help:
