I know that the iPod mini uses a seagate or a hitachi microdrive. My mini is a silver 1g and is 4gb. I was thinking would it be possible to buy one of the many microdrives (meant for cameras) off ebay, and use it in my mini? i have seen a few 8gb ones that i would love to use as 4gb is just not enough. is the connecter the same?? could the firmware handle a larger drive??
