I am trying to get 7.5.3 onto a powerbook 540c I found in storage. The hard drive doesn't not contain a valid os, so I get the floppy with the blinking question mark. I have tried http://www.jagshouse.com/Macs_and_PCs.html (tells you how to make system disks on a peecee) and followed the steps exactly. The only problem is that the stuffit expander it says to use is spitting out .smi files instead of .img files! Rawrite won't function without a .img file. How do I convert the .smi.bin files from apples website to .img files for rawrite?!?!
