The combo-drive in my PowerBook 12" (867MHz) has finally died, it just spits out any disc without even spinning it up. So now I'm looking to upgrade the drive to a DVD-burner.
Can I use any internal notebook DVD-burner in my PowerBook or are there some extra limitations on the physical dimensions, compared to PC-notebooks?
From what I can google and see on xlr8yourmac, Patchburn works with the drive I have in mind (LiteOn SLW-831S). I'm mostly worried about the physical fit. Any insights?
