I have a 400mhz Pismo, 256MB RAM, a 10GB HD, charger, DVD drive, all that standard stuff, one battery, and the little weight saver thingy. It has some dents in the case from when I put the long screws in the wrong spot, and they almost went through, but not quite... Nothing wrong with it as far as I know, it has an airport card too... How much could I get for this?
I also have one whole wallstreet, 233mhz, 128MB RAM, pretty much factory default, has a superfloppy 100MB or whatever those are. How much is it worth?
Pismo i would say:$150-200ish
wallstreet i would say around $40-60
Oh, I forgot to mention that the Pismo does have one quirk. The sound cuts out when you move it, I think there is a short somewhere on the power board, I might be able to fix it... The sound does work, however. Haven't tested the headphone jacks. So about $100 - $150 knowing that, if I can't fix it?

pismo prices headed towards a more realistic price point. They're great machines, but I guess depreciation is finally catching up with them. As for TiBooks, those will always have high resale prices as there will be very few that are either in working shape or are in good condition. Too fragile to be used as a laptop in the real world.
Earlier this year I bought a 400MHz Pismo (384MB RAM) for $250 on Craig's list. Got to see it & check it out begore I paid. However, it came with Tiger & many applications including M$ Office & Photoshop. The battery lasts about 2 hours. The software is probably worth the cost of $250. To go wireless, I bought an Airport Extreme card on eBay for $20 + shipping.

I didn't think Pismos took AP Ex cards...
Linksys WPC54G v3 and OS X or pretty much any broadcom chipped card.
But that's not AP Ex. That's 3rd party G cards...
how is this? ive got a wireless card with a broadcom chipset and it does nothing at all. dont mean to hijack but i figured while it was brought up.....
What is the model and version of the card and the Mac you are attempting to use it in?
Keep in mind that you need at least the AirPort 2005-001 update as it is a third party card and that particular update fixed compatibility for some third part cards (I can vouch for that). Or you could just fully update your AirPort software.
Also, make sure you are not attempting to use a CardBus card in a PCMCIA slot.
If all else fails carefully open the card up and check out it's chipset.
