everyone knows about the screwy wallstreet display cable whiting out the screen or (in my case) showing a scramble of colors when the crude "squeeze the bezel" trick is used. i've been contemplating how to repair or bypass the problem with the display cable, so does anyone know if there's a feasable way to resolder loose connections within the cable or reaplce the ribbon altogether with standard wires?
