Does anyone still have their copy of the Apple Appearance Manager SDK from 1999? I'm looking specifically for version 1.0.4.

This file - Appearance_SDK_1.0.4.sit.hqx - used to be available on the Apple FTP site but appears to have been removed. Google was no help so I'm hoping that someone still has their copy.
TIA for your help!

Here she is.

found it on pure-mac. it's been moved to the obsolete and unsupported section of Apple's FTP server.

Thanks!

Most excellent, thanks -digital!

Exactly what I was looking for. Must have been searching with my boolean eyes closed.

The aged 840av running 7.6.1 will be able to do some new tricks with this!

your welcome

no problem. Apple seems to shift their older things around from time to time for some reason... I guess to keep things exciting for us.

if you ever need to find anything old, I suggest pure-mac.com. that site has saved me on more than a few dozen occasions. especailly the olden and system updates catagories.

I remember I used this on my Powerbook 1400c back when it was running on a stock 7.6.1. I eventually moved to 8.6, so I need not worry about using the apearance manger. it's all built in. I can even do themes if I so desire.

good luck and have fun.
