Are there any cable modems that are especially compelling, or is one as good as another? All I need is Doscis 1.0 or higher.

I've been using a Linksys model for about 2 years now, it's been rock-solid. The D-Link it replaced only lasted a year.
I used to use an old Motorola SURFboard 3100 with Comcast. It was pretty reliable, and I don't recall having much of an issue with anything during that time. In anticipation of getting cable again recently I picked up a used SB 4100/4200, which I didn't really need as I was provided a much newer and seemingly very reliable Touchstone Aris TM402P cable modem and VoIP tranciever with a built-in dual battery backup. We haven't yet had a power outage to test the backups.
i am using a motorola SB5101 SURFboard cable modem from timewarner. so far had it a week and no problems yet. i also use a belkin wireless g+ router which is also rock solid and throws a perfict signal threw 4 wall's and a floor
Anybody familiar with the Cisco UBR924 or know what sort of power supply it takes?
I use some sort of Linksys cable modem, it stacks well with my WRT54GS. I wouldn't buy a modem that isn't DOCSIS 2.0, simply because it makes higher speeds possible (moot point if you're provisioned for 2Mb/s, though).
