Does anybody know of any PDA's or things like that or things like the seiko datagraph for the earlier macintosh's. I was watching an old video of the '87 macworld (i think it was '87) and they have a wrist watch that had memo's, address book, etc. And it was for the earlier macintosh, but when i went to look for info on it in the web i couldn't find anything. if anyone can offer anything on this topic please get back to me.

thanks

maybe...

I watched most of it, but skipped through some parts, so I might have missed it, but I didn't see anything like you were talking about. I'll try watching again later.

Early Palms with serial docks

Early Palms with serial docks should work fine. Palm Desktop is a Classic OS sync/PIM suite.

Yup. Not too hard to find. Sorry my brain is a bit foggy on the exact term.

But yeah, what Ian said.

I watched that Computer Chron

I watched that Computer Chronicles video from start to finish without skipping anything. While interesting, nothing in the video was anywhere close to the device you are talking about.

I certainly wish the audio was in synch with the video though. It made an otherwise interested trip to the past rather annoying!

Well....

You can download it from the original page instead of streaming and they also have all different years starting '85 it is pretty interesting if you watch them without lagging audio. they also have 56kbp links. (if you want them i can get them for u). And do any of u guys know where i could get a cheap messagepad with wires etc. and would they be compatible with system 6-plus of mine.

thanks.

Since the URL you provided above was to "archive.org" and not the 'original page,' what is the original page URL where all the videos can be found?

Thanks.

Just because an item is on ar

Just because an item is on archive.org doesn't mean that it's a copy of another page. The page archives are in the "Wayback Machine" and the archive maintains many kinds of media available in digital forms.

Find the Computer Chronicles here: http://www.archive.org/details/computerchronicles

Bad wording...

all right that was bad wording here i will give you the link of all the computer chronicles episodes and you can watch any of them they have coverage of macworld comdex, etc. they have guests and talk about computers and and show "new" software but best of all its all vintage (mostly). anyway here is the main page http://www.archive.org/details/computerchronicles

you can search for specific things then click on the link to the page in your search results and brought to the show page where you can either download the movie or stream it. etc...

thanks

Direct URL to Mac Videos

I appreciate the specific URL. Thank you.

For those of you reading this thread after us, it will be even easier for you to use this URL:

http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=Macintosh...

The link above is a comprehensive listing of all the "Macintosh" videos, excluding all else.

Yes. You should be able to fi

Yes. You should be able to find one on ebay. Basically, it is a 9-pin F on one end and a mini-DIN on the other.

Palm Desktop for the Mac was basically a repackaging of Claris Organizer 2.x with the addition of the HotSync manager. It *should* be downloadable from Palm.
