has anyone ever tried this? i installed 2 nearly identical 40gb seagate hard drives, formatted them and added them to a raid set. no problems there, formatted as Mac OS extended, installed panther on them, rebooted and then nothing, it wont boot from the raid setup. with a panther boot dvd, i went into startup disk and it shows up as being bootable too. i have since deleted the raid and is running normally now with no problems after a re-install of panther on a single drive. were these machines even made to boot from raid or is that just a panther feature? TIA
