Well, congratulate me folks! Finally lost my fear of modding expensive stuff...not that I don't like modding.
Here I put some red tape on the CP LED's to make them glow orange:

Actually, the T-bar and jog/s

Actually, the T-bar and jog/shuttle do not work in OS X. Thing is, the orig software was for OS 9, and I emailed Focus Info for when they will get the OS X version out over a year ago with no luck. USB OD, of course, is only a partial solution.
