Bad Disk or Bad Drive

The symptoms you describe fit with a dirty disk drive head, the motor speed needing to be calibrated, or the disk has become unreadable.

I always recommend disk drive maintenance firstly. If that doesn't work then try a fresh copy of the software on a tested disk.

For full discussions of disk drive maintenance, search around this section of the board for some of my previous posts on the topic.

Bad disk, dirty head, or not enought ram.

It also may not have memory. It may only have 64K instead of 128k. Pictures tell it all.

Where are you located?

If you need memory or another disk that is no problem.
