I suspect this one has a faulty CPU or logic board (similar to the problem UMU had here: http://www.applefritter.com/node/24797 ) but this one seems to work a little erratically. It sometimes boots up and runs fine for hours, other times it won't even chime. The PRAM battery is flat, but a new one didn't fix it before. Swapping RAM made little difference either. Complete with disks, manuals, VGA adaptor, keyboard and slightly dodgy mouse, it's a complete OS 9.2.2 capable Mac. This did not have the quieter fan upgrade, as it was in an office which wasn't aware of the program.
The HD has been removed, but I can probably find it and give it a multi-pass erase so you can have that too, it's either a 60 or 80GB drive.
The case is in good condition.

I'll accept reasonable offers, there are quite a lot of working parts here, so it's still worth something even if you don't intend to fix it.
I'll gladly send it by courier to anywhere in the UK at cost. I'm guessing it's not worth shipping internationally. If you live locally you can collect it from Cambridge, or potentially London by arrangement.
