Dumb question regarding Quake 2 for the Mac...

If you download the demo copy but have the full retail version for the PC, can you copy the PC's maps over and have a full version on the Mac?

Just curious....

It works!!!!!

I did find a port of Quake II for MacOS X! It's at www.fruitz-of-dojo.de/php/download.php4 . They also have Quake I for OS X was well. It will accept PC or Mac installation files.

Right now I'm enjoying Quake II on hard skill level on my G3-333 in software mode. I have an ATI Rage 128 card, but the 333 is in a hacked ATX case, and I don't want to bend/break the card to fit it in the case.
