I live in Paris and recently found a Mac SE on the street, it has a 800k floppy drive and 20mb hard drive but no OS, can anyone send me the disks to get the thing started, it boots up with the floppy with a flashing question mark on it. I would be happy to pay for postage and any other costs that you think are necessary! Please help, post a reply or contact me on my email address if you can help.

You can download all the old

You can download all the old OSes up to 7.6.1 here: http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2/syslist.html

i have a 800k floppy drive

i have a few spare 800k floppies and a PowerBook 145b with a 1.44/800k floppy drive, so i might be able to get that boot disk to you... but what system version will fit on that little space? Maybe system 6. I don't have the actual system software, but I think it's a free download from apple.
