"Son Of Stupid Mac Tricks" > Bob Levitus > page 84 > An Email Address From 1989.

This means the the InterNet has been around a LOT longer than what people think.

The email address is ID'ed as being on the "ARPA InterNet"....

"ARPA" > "Advanced Research Projects Agency"....

That's "agency" as in *Federal* agency...

That's "Federal" as in "government".....

Tim Bernards-Lee invents "ARPA InterNet" on a "NeXT" computer.....

Steve Jobs invented not only the "NeXT", but the personal computer.

Personal computers are EVERYwhere.

The InterNet is EVERYWHERE.

The Illuminati is EVERYwhere.

The InterNet is everyTHING.

The Illuminati symbol is the "All [EVERYwhere/thing] Seeing Eye".

Thus, the Illuminati/Jobs/InterNet Diabolical Trinity.

Discuss....

Later!

I Thought Differently...

You know, the old AOL symbol kind of resembled the "All Seeing Eye"... and let's face it, they were most of America's intro to the Internet. And all of the control they exert. Also, AOL's national headquarters is located near the Washington D.C. suburbs, kind of close to McLean, VA in fact. Care to guess where the CIA is located? Just across the Potomac, you have Ft. Meade, MD, home of the NSA. Did you know that they have a kid's page on their website? Did you know that you can get to that page from AOL (or any other browser... sorry...)?

Conspiratorily Yours,
Rob "They're Out To Get Me!!!" ****** (Last name concealed in order to avoid revealing identity... they are out to get me, you know)

Boy that guy got some fact wrong,

The name is Tim Berners-Lee

He did not invent the Internet. He invented the World Wide Web.

Tim Berners-Lee

Hey,

Damn right. Al Gore invented the internet and he was a member of the trilateral commission and the council on foreign relations, if ya get my drift. Probably has a black helicopter, too. And an Adam Weishaupt tattoo.

Wink

She's French. Many Americans mistake the quite liberal nature of the French as lust. But I'm sure its an exception in your case, bien sûr... Wink

I step away from the computer...

I step away from the computer for a little while, and this is what you guys (and gals) end up doing?

Geez... I thought my theory was a little crazy... y'know the one where all computers connected to the Internet will eventually become a massive processing farm for SkyNet and bring about Rise of Machines and enslave humans and cattle to be batteries for the computer society who will keep us complacent by filling our head with fantasies called the Matrix until I am reborn as the One and free humanity and cows from the evil Machine empire and then we will have a Mentat class who will drink the juice of safu which is really nothing but Welch's grape juice and meth...

But you people are freaking wierd, man...

Conspiracies

I know this would concern those who are into conspiracies, but the NSA has people on site working at companies like Verizon and AOL. They basically monitor voice and data traffic for anything concerning. (Former AOL Time Warner and Verizon employee)

The ARPAnet had been around since the late 60's, IIRC. That alone makes the 1989 email and the TB-L claim seem like saying the car was invented by Ford when they built the Mustang...

Gosh, what's that in your cheek?

Tongue Why, it's a tongue! Tongue And quite firmly planted too! Tongue

Still, I'm pretty sure Jobs would happily take over the world, if only he could get the other two thirds of that unholy trinity to be more co-operative.
Tongue What was the one forbidden fruit of the Garden of Eden! Hmmmmmm?!?!?!? Tongue
Tongue And didn't Apple's Steve Jobs once date a woman named Eve?!?!? Tongue
Tongue And what about another diabolical fruit, banannas? Don't they split laterally into 3 parts? Tongue
I'm getting chills . . . ooops, maybe it's just gas . . .

Tongue

Foiled

I've put my tinfoil hat on after reading half-way through this thread. That way none of you loonies can steal my thoughts again.
And everyone knows (Walrus) the Illuminati is actually the Freemasons and are controlled by Yale's Skull and Bones society and (Walrus) Steve Jobs and Bill Gates are not members but they do their masters' bidding by inserting mind control equipment using the (Walrus) Zodiac and the electrical fields of copper wire that cure cancer but they won't tell you that secret and I get these terrible (Walrus) headaches and they only stop when I do what the voices tell me ......and I'm not crazy, you're the ones that are crazy (Herring).

Foiled?

Hey,

I worked on the TFISC (Tin Foil Interference Solution Committe) in the 1960s as part of MKUltra. It was a subset, cross-operation with artichoke and bluebird using Nazi scientists, paterphysicians and volunteer Eagle scouts. We snapped that twig in less than six months. Want to see the tapes taken out of your head? Got paypal?

Everything new is old, everything old is new.

Regarding e-mail, network messaging dates back to the 1960's, and an e-mail from 1989 isn't exactly the earliest example of this type of communication. The following comes from orangepeel.com as part of their history of ARPAnet, but I recall reading this in other historical documents:

"The famous @ symbol in every email address, was created in 1973 by Ray Tomlinson while working at BBN. Tomlinson was trying to figure out a way to send messages over the ARPANET using a standard messaging protocol. He developed the software called SNDMSG and the first email File Transfer Protocol called CPYNET which sent an electronic message over the ARPANET. While looking for a character to separate the username and computer name for SNDMSG, Tomlinson looked at his Model 33 Teletype and chose the @ symbol as the separator."

And if you think instant messaging, the plasma display, and the touch screen are relatively recent inventions, you never chatted with someone using TERM-TALK or Talkomatic on an amber screen PLATO terminal in the 1970's.

...must...study...history...
