half visible screen fix?

hey,

i have a titanium g4 powerbook 400 vga, and the screen on it is only displaying half of the picture. what would probably most likely be the problem? i really need help on this one so any one with an answer, thanks very much.

The problem most likely is . . .

any of three things, bad LCD, damaged LVDS cable, or damaged MLB.

Got a picture of the symptom, or a better description at least?

the whole bottom half is not

the whole bottom half is not veiwable. its just black. the top is perfect though.

My vote is for a bad video cable. Them suckers are fragile.

So what do you guys think is a good price for a new data cable for the display?

i found a brand new one for 100$next day shipping included.
