Wouldn't be cool if you made an ibook look like a powerbook. I'm sure its way to complicated for me to do, but i thought it would be cool. Are they different thicknesses? Could you just replace the shells?

Comparing a PowerBook to an iBook is like comparing the moon to an electric motor.
Or, to be less weird, they're nothing like each other, not one component is interchangeable(apart from hard drives and the like).
But if you got one of those old internally-painted iBooks with the silver parts and stripped the white paint and replaced it with silver... you'd have... a silver iBook, I guess.
