By default, OS X creates/uses swap on the start-up disk.
But lets say you're using an older computer... with, like, 6 X 4GB scsi drives...
Is it possible to force the system to create and use swap space on a disk that isn't the start-up disk?
I'm not even certain I am using the correct terms, here... what I'd like to do is dedicate an entirely separate disk ( or maybe even a soft RAID), in its entirety, to virtual memory.
Can it be done? Anyone know how?
