Looking for a Macintosh IIfx, preferably with some memory and a hard drive. Must be cheap.

I must say, I do admire your taste in 68K machines. The IIfx and the Quadra 840AV are the two Macs on my 68K "must have" list. Smile

Darn tootin'! The IIfx was the top of the line '030 Mac, while 840AV was the top of the line '040 Mac. Each of these fine lil' critters were speed demons in their own right and did the Mac aficionados proud in their heyday.

Even today, the tech that went into the IIfx is phenomenal for a machine of that generation. I don't think that Apple engineers could have dreamed of squeezing just one more ounce of oomph from the 68030 darling ticking at the core of the IIfx.

Now, those funky sixty-something pin SIMMs that Apple put in the IIfx, well, that's another story that is better left told by...

Mac IIfx
40 MB HD
8 MB RAM
Comes with Graphics card AND Network Card (and programmers buttons, if I can find them)

What do you consider cheap?
