hi, i have an extra dead 400mhz titanium g4 in wich the screen still works. I was wondering if anyone knows a sorce to get proper controllers to make an lcd into a desktop monitor/screen. I remember there was someone who had one along time ago. I know they are very expencive and its would be more worth it to buy just a brand new lcd monitor but i just think it would be cool to use the titanium screen as a monitor seeing how thin and stylish it is.

Don't listen to the "holy grail" post! Go for it!
im going to i just need to find the cheapest controller off the sites i found.
We'd love to see someone finally overcome all the myriad technical obstacles, and not-insignificant expenses, and actually use a PowerBook LCD as a standalone display. Especially with an odd-ball LCD such as used in the TiBooks.
Please let us know how it goes.
