Everytime I try to copy a file from an external disk (or disk image) onto my hard drive, it never completes because an error ALWAYS appears saying "this operation could not me completed because file foobar already exists" (with foobar being a filename in the directory or application package)! I need some help, and desperately!

heh

I get that a lot on Windows 2k. Never could figure out y it does that. I just end up copying the files one-by one (or all the files within the folder to another one I created.)

Not an option.

This is Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, which has more than 9,000 files in many subfolders of one 'Data' folder. I need a solution. Can someone please help?
