Proliant with blue LEDs

Proliant with blue LEDs

This is my big old server, a Compaq Proliant 5500 which I got for £20 on Ebay. It's nothing special, currently a dual Pentium Pro 200mhz with 640mb RAM and a couple of SCSI arrays. However, to make it look more interesting I dismantled the drive trays and put blue LEDs inside, followed by a blue cold cathode inside the vent.

Compaq Professional Workstation

Compaq Professional Workstation

A Compaq Professional Workstation 5000. This is an elderly high-end machine that cost me £2. I've added a second processor, two optical drives and some RAM. The case was very scratched and marked, so painted it blue and put blue LEDs in. Mainly because I'm not very good at painting or soldering so I thought I'd practice on this. It turned out OK though.

Touchable DOT

Touchable DOT

It's just my DOT. Not unlike any other DOT, this DOT has special meaning and purpose for its owner, Vantage Point.

You might notice that this is the special touchable DOT, not to be confused with the untouchable DOT, and, as such, is always within reach.

So, whenever you feel you need or want more, just reach out and touch the DOT.

NOTE: The touchable DOT is the predecessor to the connectable DOT. Although the touchable DOT and the connectable DOT remain compatible and complementary, under certain circumstances, they shall remain exclusive.
