Let us just hope that "the inventor of the internet" doesn't get our beloved company into too much (or any) trouble... They said "he has leadership experience" at Apple's website. I just hope that this doesn't mean that Steve-O plans on giving up his favorite company AGAIN!!! If he does... He will not again have as much luck as he once before did...

| Maybe he'll go for the chair, and lose, leaving a complete idiot (Dubyah, SJ) in that place, like he did before.

Should I take this as we can't open bets on how soon he'll make a claim to the extent of "I invented the Digital Hub (or any other good Apple idea)." in a Wired Article?

can you picture gore speaking in the keynote? that'd be interesting "I invented the new <insert rev 2 apple product here> [ ] on Mar 19th, 2003, 6:24pm, smykes24 wrote:| Keep in mind your friendly moderator is a die hard liberal. | hrm, that'd be culling a potentially good discussion. That and the fact that I have never heard of a modereator locking a thread because it does not agree with their political views. CCC

I seriously doubt that The Steve would step down for Al without a fight. As for a certain moderator's comments, one's political allegance should not be used as a criteria for locking threads. I will overturn any moderator I see grossly abusing their moderator priveledges.

I retract my statements. Regardless of my political views if the thread turned into harcore bashing of someone in either party in other tech I would move the topic to another forum. Appologies if my statements caused a few to get upset.

I didn't think there would be demands for a recount this soon (check out Apple's hot news ticker)
