I found a good site for free avatars, it was the first site I got when I searched google, so I'm sure there are thousands more, but check this one out first.

This is directed at all the new posters who continue to use the same avatar as everyone else, please stop, I find myself looking at a persons avatar rather than there user name, and when an entire forum page is filled with the same one (avatar) I get frusterated. Not that the default avatars are bad, theres just not much variety for all the users Applefritter forums has.
