Applefritter Acceptable Use Policy

You agree, through your use of Applefritter Forums, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or you have consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Discussion of Apple rumors is forbidden, as are links to bootlegged software, even if the software is no longer available for purchase. Spam, flooding, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also inappropriate to Applefritter Forums. Advertisements are only allowed in the Marketplace forums.
Note that it is impossible for us to confirm the validity of posts on Applefritter Forums. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages and are not responsible for their content. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any information presented. The messages express the views of the author, not anybody else. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator of this forum immediately. We have the right to remove objectionable content if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy goes for member profile information as well.

On etiquette:
Proper use of language strengthens everybody's ability to communicate. Make a concerted effort to use proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. If you are a "L33t Haxor," please enroll in an ESL course.
Please use descriptive subjects when you start a new thread. "Look at this!" is not descriptive.
Keep threads on topic. If the subject starts to wonder, start a new thread.
Despite popular belief your number of posts does not increase the amount of respect you get, show how knowledgeble you are, or increase the size of any body part.
If you have nothing useful to say, say nothing at all. In particular, do not dredge up old topics without good reason. "Me too" is not useful.
Signatures may be no longer than 3 lines and may not include graphics or advertisements.
If you have a straight-forward technical question, take a moment to search Applefritter [link] and search the Forums [link]. Try a Google search [link]. If you question can be answered with five minutes of research, it doesn't deserve a post.
On moderators and administrators:
Respect the decisions of moderators and administrators.
Moderators and administrators, like all members, are required to abide by these rules.
If you wish to question a moderator or administrator's judgement, please do so via private email.
