Welcome to the wonderful world of the Apple II computer! For your first Apple II a IIc is an excellent computer, it has several things built into it that are only available via plug in cards on the IIe. Go to this web site: http://floppydisk.com/ and scroll down to the 5.25 DS/DD disks. You can order blank disks that you can format for your computer and using this program: http://adtpro.sourceforge.net/ you can transfer disk images, that you can download from several places on the web, from your PC/Mac to the IIc.

Or you can get on eBay and see what Apple II programs are for sale. Of course depending on what program/game it is the price could be unreasonable.

I would add that most all of the manuals for this computer are available online in PDF format.
