Hi all I'm new hear and need some help and information on the above peripheral, I came across this board whilst having a clear out and all research suggests its a graphics card for the apple 2 it would of been external to the apple and connected with an expansion card which sadly I don't have and have only seen one picture of one online. is anyone familiar with this board? I see the interface card looks quite simple so it may be possible if anyone has any details on it i may be able to make one and try to get this thing up and running in one of my apple 2s.
very interesting!
please take some high resolution photos of the card and the board. The VGP-64 can have 192k, 384k or even 768k of memory allowing up to 4096 colors on a 512x512 pixel screen. These boards had interfaces for S100, IBM PC, TRS80 and some more. The mods on the board could mean that this is a late prototype or someone has added a patch later on. It would be interesting to see the memory type and the actual bottom of the board.
Maybe you can use the VGP-II software for this setup?
Before you plug this setup into an Apple II you should make sure that there are no shorts or ripped wire. More pictures (better resolution!) would be appreciated
If you are interested to sell the setup, i would be interested.

Jay,
I have never heard of, or seen one of these.
A bigger pictures of the interface Card would be great. lol
Did it come with the cable?
Steven
As mentioned in my original post I sadly only have the main board in my possession the picture of the interface board I found online. I will endeavor to take some better pictures of the main board. what I can tell you is it is populated with 384kb of ram and uses a graphic display processor type EF9365P. What I need is details on the interface card all I have so far is that low-rez picture I posted, the interface cable is easy as it looks to just be a 50 pin ribbon cable. there must be some details about for it somewhere but so far I've drawn a blank. Its interesting that you mention this board had interface cards available for other systems other than the apple 2 I didn't know that.

i had a VGP-ii once, but i sold it to a spanish programmer who programmed some software for the card in the 80s.
