I have a Macintosh Color Classic with a color classic 2 motherboard and 575 motherboard, Apple Design Speakers and a Apple Adjustable Keyboard and Apple 300 CD Drive. How much do you think it's worth. A new 1.8gb hard drive was also installed with a fresh copy of Mac OS 7.6. [Brand New Operating System CD with manual would be included] I'd say the condition is a 9.5/10

How much is it worth?

I'm probably not the best judge of things, but $250-350 probably sounds about right given the description, extras and add-ons :3

Brianmac and Smiley,

We've been talking about prices in another couple of topics here on 'Fritter.

As I have said before, you can place it up on ebay with an asking price, or a starting price, but that does not mean that you'll get what you think it might be worth.
I have seen Color Classics, Color Classic II's , and many other "should sell at this price" systems sit there forever and never have a bid.

It's like the old saying: "You pays your money and you takes your chances." Smile

it's worth however much you're willing to pay for it.

I'll probably hold on to it. I'd only sell it to someone who plans on taking very good care of it. I'll post some pictures of it soon though. I also have a a mint condition Mac OS 8 Copland tour CD, case and all!

I hate to ask this, but how are you going to be able to tell if someone will take care of it once you have sold it to him/her?

Once it is sold; it belongs to him/her/them and you have no control over it.

You seem to be taking selling this particular computer rather personally. Maybe you should just pack it and place it away, or find a way to use it all the time?

Steven

Well I'd like to sell it to a Mac Enthusiast, I don't really need to sell it. I was just kind of curious on how much it would be worth. The longer I keep it the more rare it will be anyways. I usually use it for games and playing music. I'd like to modify the monitor though so I can do the 640x480 resolution hack so I can play more games, it's somewhat limited because of the stock resolution.
