Man, I feel like a n00b. It has been a while since I had to ask questions about Mac upgrades. What happens if you put a CPU with a 1066MHz FSB on a machine that runs at 800MHz? I see that my 2.4GHz aluminum iMac is a Socket P machine with an 800MHz FSB. I'd like to drop in a Core 2 Quad Q9100, but Intel says the FSB is 1066MHz on this part. Otherwise, the specs look compatible to me (Socket P, same TDP, etc).
Thoughts?

Well, a little more reading has lead me to believe that it won't work on my first gen aluminum iMac with a P965 chipset. That's too bad. It looks like it should work on Penryn iMacs, though.
