Would leopard 10.5.8 run smoothly on a 1.5ghz powerbook g4 12" laptop? It has 768mb of ram. I know it meets past the requirements for leopard but sometimes even when you meet the requirements it doesn't mean it will run good (like slow to where you get frustrated!)

Thanks,

Austin

Leopard on a G4 Powerbook

There were some possible issues, as I recall, reading about it once before.

Max the ram out. I ran leopard on a 1.33Ghz Powerbook G4 12" and it ran fine. A little slow on flash stuff but worked fine other than that.

I'm doing it on my 12" PowerBook 1.5GHz and its great. No reason at all to run Tiger on it.
