Lisa 2 battery??

Does the Lisa 2 have a battery? I yes, where is it located? We have a Lisa 2/10 in our museum at Infoage science center and it's complaining the clock isn't set even if we set it and the restart the machine.

I'm assuming there is a battery someone inside.

Thanks,
Corey

Re: Lisa 2 battery??

"The Lisa will maintain time only as long as it is plugged in. When unplugged, the time will be lost immediately (unless the I/O board has working batteries which will maintain the time for a few hours at most)."

And there is no batteries on a Lisa 2/10...

Re: Lisa 2 battery??

Yep. Figured that out once I got a keyboard rebuilt and was able to set the time. The other problem is the date can't be correctly set because of how the Lisa kept the date. Not even close to Y2K compliant.

If anyone is going to HOPE in NYC (Hackers On Planet Earth) you can see it and many other Apple products on display. MARCH is going to be showing off a lot of interesting Apple and Apple compatibles.

Cheers,
Corey
